Resources for Homeschooling
When I first started homeschooling well over a decade ago it was incredibly difficult to find any sort of biblically solid resources, much less resources that were Reformed doctrinally in nature. I am so thankful that today there are many Christian men and women who have chosen not only to educate their own children at home, but have chosen to share their wealth of knowledge and experience with those of us who are in the trenches.
If you are a homeschooling parent or are considering homeschooling, I cannot recommend these resources enough to encourage you on your journey.

The Homeschool Planet Online Planner
I am not a planner by nature. I am more the fly-by-the-seat of her pants style of woman. It works for me up to the point I need to keep grades and track attendance. Enter Homeschool Planet.
I have tried every paper planner there is, and Homeschool Planet is the only thing that keeps me organized in season and out of season. Whether you are a Type A personality or a Type B (like me), Homeschool Planet has the tools you need to organize your homeschool.
In addition to the online planner, Homeschool Planet offers over three thousand optional lesson plans to choose from. These lesson plans are from your favorite name brand curricula! When purchased for a small fee, you can customize and drop these publisher-created and approved lesson plans into your planner to make your job that much easier!
If you want to try a risk-free 30-day FREE TRIAL of Homeschool Planet (no credit card required), click below. As a gift, they will throw in a free lesson plan too! I know you will love it as much as I do!
Tapestry of Grace Curriculum
We began using Tapestry of Grace when my oldest daughter, now fourteen, was six years of age. I fell in love with it immediately. It was rich. It had the best reading lists divided by educational stages. It was classical and had a Charlotte Mason flair. It could be as a rigorous or as relaxed an education as I needed according to our season. It was REFORMED doctrinally.
Tapestry of Grace checks off every box a Christian homeschooling mother could want and more. We first joined one of their virtual co-ops, and then later I began a local co-op. It has been a fun adventure, and I look forward to many more years using Tapestry of Grace in our homeschool.
