Sanctity of Life Unit Study

We live in a culture of death in the United States of America. Instead of recognizing that all men are created equally in the image of God, men are coming up with even more creative ways to deform and erase the image of God in man. Therefore, we must take all the more time to equip our children with the armor of God – God’s Word – to help them understand what the Bible has to say concerning God being the Author of Life.

Our family takes the Sanctity of Life very seriously, and I desire my children to as well. We have gotten involved with our local Women’s Pregnancy Center in very tangible ways. Our church donates to them monthly. We have hosted fund raisers and diaper drives to stock their shelves. Our daughters have gone to volunteer by helping to clean bathrooms in the facility and organize the inventory they keep on hand for moms in need of clothing, diapers, etc.

I pray that this resource will help you as you traverse this difficult topic with your younger children. Our desire is to show our children the importance of protecting life, but it should also be to show them just how important it is to live a life to its fullest potential, which is being found in Christ and following Him in obedience.
